Ladies and Gentlemen,

Dan Graff, Jim Boullion and I served as pallbearers yesterday at Fred's
funeral.  I know some of you managed to make it to the visitation Monday
evening, but couldn't give off work on Tuesday.  Fred's service was
excellent.  It's obvious Fred has a very close family and many close
friends.

We bought flowers in the name of the skirmish team.  It was a nice
arrangement of red carnations, white daisies, and some blue flowers that
most real guys can't name, in a patriotic basket.  We put two pictures in
the arrangement.  One from the 1996 CWSA Nationals, with Fred surrounded by
his team mates after he won his medal.  The other, from the 1998 CWSA
Nationals, with Fred grinning like the Cheshire Cat, in the middle of all
the 2nd Wisconsin ladies.  It was a nice remembrance of a great guy.

If you'd like to contribute to the arrangement, please send me your
donation.  Any extra funds will be forwarded to the family.

I also want to remind everyone of the April 26 deadline for Jim Swart's
estate items.  I'll be delivering the Confederate uniform items to Jimmy
Wilson this weekend.

This skirmish season has had a rough start.  I'm looking forward to seeing
everyone together soon.
