This photo of two unidentified boys from Madison, Wisconsin, in their parade gear, has been made available by Bill Brewster of the Wisconsin Veteran's Museum. Their over all clothing, as they marched in the parade was described by light/white pants, a shirt, as shown above, in red pattern with solid red front, cuff facings and collar. As you can see, each mother's imagination was applied to the basic design. All the boys would have worn the blue kepi to create the effect of a marching flag coming down the street.
